The CCSE-ASEAN 2019 Committee has decided that the deadline for your full-paper submissions has been extended further. The new deadline is 20 August 2019. The guidelines for full-paper preparation and submission are available here.
We cordially invite you to the International Conference on Climate Change and Sustainability Engineering in ASEAN (CCSE-ASEAN) 2019.
Southeast Asia is one of the most vulnerable regions in the world to climate change impacts. In recent decades, the frequent occurrence of climate-related disasters such as floods, droughts, and tropical cyclones have caused great loss to millions of people in the region. The rapid growth of population and industrial activities in the region have caused considerable increase in carbon emission and will pose significant threat to food, water, and energy resources in the forthcoming decades. The climate change has brought real challenges on the sustainable development in Southeast Asia.
On the other hand, a number of major breakthroughs in engineering, such as genetic engineering and artificial intelligent, have provided the society with new opportunities to tackle various sustainability-related problems. Therefore, it is imperative to immediately strengthen the regional response to the climate change challenges by making the best use of engineering innovations.
CCSE-ASEAN aims at being an excellent forum for researchers, engineers, leaders in regional government and industries, and students to share ideas and scientific contributions to enhance the role of engineering in climate change mitigation and sustainable development in ASEAN region.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at CCSE-ASEAN 2019!
